Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport Photo Collection Campaign

HKIA has been undergoing works to upgrade its facilities to keep up with the pace of the aviation development. The photo shows a Pan Am 747-100 aircraft parking at the Number 1 stand equipped with the first retractable air bridge at Kai Tak Airport in 1970.
